Lahore: As the government continues to prioritise educating the country, 24 of the 26 new institutions in Punjab are for girls. Raja Yassir Humayun Sarfraz, the minister of higher education, made this remark. His department had been alerted about the launching of new colleges in the province, he said.

Govt Associate College for Girls Chak Beli Khan, Rawalpindi tehsil; Govt Associate College for Girls Mandra; and Govt Associate College for Women Kalriala, Gujar Khan, according to an announcement.
Other colleges have been created in the districts of Jarranwala, Miranwala Bangla Faisalabad, Hazari, and Jhang; Ratta Matta, Sandh, Mianwali, T.T. Singh, Jhallan, Gujrat, Mandi Bahauddin, Sialkot, Mandiki Goraya, Ora, Saidpur, Narowal, Shakargarh, Kasur, Okara, Sahiwal, Sardarpur.

The minister said the department had introduced e-transfer application for the transferring of college teachers to stations of their choice and the window for receiving applications for transfers was on.
