Lahore: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) in recent times has approved the construction of 23 road-related schemes. The projected expense was determined to be around PKR 1,72, 514.999 million, and the same sum was proposed for inclusion in the budget to the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).

The road widening plans were accepted at the PDWP’s 30th meeting of the current fiscal year, which runs from 2020 to 2021. Provincial Secretary P&D Imran Sikandar Baloch, Assistant Chief Coordinator Shahid Idrees, provincial secretaries, and other senior members of the related departments were among those who attended the meeting, which was presided over by Planning & Development Board Chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal.

The following schemes were approved:

19 other road schemes were accepted in addition to the ones listed above, and the proposal was sent to PSDP.
